Some years back my parents told me about something that happened to me as a baby with spiders.
You know those spiders who are... eehm.. not very big, but with these very very long thin (spidery.. tee hee) legs?
apparently i must have found this one quite nice because i actually ate the whole thing.
good protein.

Sorry Shatzy , I did not know the extent of you rSpider hating was that deep. I do have a story about Bill (my spider) though. ok may be two.
1st: A friend came over and wanted to hold Bill so I took him out of the cage and was holding him and he thought that was pretty cool so he asked if he could and I told him he had to hold his hand flat blaa blaa blaa. I must have worked it up cause now he wanted to hodl him only with a ski glove on. Well the glove must have been cold because as soon as I transfered Bill to his gloved hand Bill raced up his arm to my friends neck as he sat there screaming like a 6 yr old girl. I think my parents thought I was killing someone downstairs.
2: When I first had my girlfriend stay the night she didnt even know I had Bill. She went to the bathroom right before we went to bed and while she was out of the room I decided to feed Bill. I opened his cage and tossed in 1 or 2 crickets turned off the light and hoped in bed. She came in about 2 mins later and hoped in bed. About 3 mins later she hears this scratching about 2 feet from her head. She asks what that is and I say oh prolly Bill. She was quiet for about a min and then says I thought your roommate was named Guy. I say oh he is.. Bill is my spider and turned on the light so She could see his cage right next to her. She ran out of the room screamin so loud I am surprised the cops werent called. :-) OOOPS

I have to catch ALL the spiders in my house cos everyone else here is afraid of them! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Mind you, we don't have any REALLY big one's in the UK - just the house ones that can get to about 5" across and they're only found in the south east of England, which, coincidentally, is where I live! Ain't I the lucky one? [img]wink.gif[/img]
